Phileo by Lesaffre & Planet Pharma had arranged a technical seminar on “Performance Under Pressure: Maximizing Productivity in Turbulent Times”.

Phileo by Lesaffre, in collaboration with Planet Pharma, organised an exclusive technical session in Dhaka focusing on strategies to enhance poultry productivity and performance amid the growing challenges facing the industry.
Titled “Performance Under Pressure: Maximizing Productivity in Turbulent Times,” the technical session was held on September 14, 2026, at the Hotel Le Méridien Dhaka. The programme brought together poultry industry professionals and stakeholders to explore emerging global industry trends and practical approaches related to immunity, performance, and gut health.
The event also marked a decade of partnership between Phileo by Lesaffre and Planet Pharma, highlighting their continued collaboration in promoting innovation and knowledge sharing within the poultry sector.
Md. Shahzaman Khan, Director General of the Department of Livestock Services (DLS), attended the program as the chief guest, while Dr. Shakila Faruque, Director General of the Bangladesh Livestock Research Institute (BLRI), was present as the special guest.
The program commenced with a welcome address by Shah Fahad Habib, Director of Planet Group, who welcomed the distinguished guests, speakers and participants and highlighted the importance of technical knowledge and industry collaboration in strengthening the poultry sector.
The technical programme featured a distinguished panel of speakers from Phileo by Lesaffre. Mr. Stephane Jonvel, APAC & AfMECA Director, Phileo by Lesaffre, and Mr. Saurabh Singh, Head of Business-East Central Asia (ECA), Phileo by Lesaffre, were among the distinguished guests and speakers.
Technical presentations were delivered by Dr. Michal Marcin Duda, Europe Poultry Technical Manager, Phileo by Lesaffre, who addressed the topic “Immunity & Performance,” while Dr. Vaibhav Madhukar Khandagale, Business Manager-Poultry (ECA), Phileo by Lesaffre, presented on “Gut Health & Performance.”
The sessions highlighted the importance of maintaining strong immunity and optimal gut health as key drivers of poultry performance, production efficiency, and profitability, particularly during periods of market volatility and operational challenges.
Through the technical session, Phileo by Lesaffre and Planet Pharma aimed to provide poultry professionals with updated scientific insights and practical knowledge to help them navigate the evolving challenges of modern poultry production.
The event underscored the growing importance of science-based nutrition, effective gut health management, and immune support in achieving sustainable productivity and improving overall poultry production outcomes.
The program concluded with closing remarks by Shah Habibul Haque, Managing Director of Planet Group. Md. Mosleh Uddin, Director of Planet Group, along with other directors and senior officials of the Planet Group, also attended the program.
The event was jointly anchored by Soyyeb Adnan, Deputy Manager, and Mohammad Riaz Ghauri, Assistant Manager, who conducted the session and coordinated the proceedings.
